Sinquerim Fort commonly refers to the lower shore-side Aguada works in Candolim. ASI’s protected-monument list names “Fortification Wall of Auguda Fortress (Lower)” at Candolim, distinguishing this identity from the hilltop fort.

GTDC describes Aguada’s sea-level works and hilltop citadel separately and distinguishes their approaches. That historical description does not confirm that every path or wall is currently open.

GTDC describes Aguada as a Portuguese defensive complex. The hilltop citadel and lower sea-level works had different roles; the history of the whole complex is not an independently established construction date for every wall.

ASI names the lower fortification at Candolim. GTDC discusses the hilltop fort, sea-level walls, lighthouse and jail separately; do not apply the opening time or price of one to another.
